I think it may end up going up in three parts, maybe. I was wondering about how long Simmons' longest were, I think he's topped 15,000 a few times. My guess is that everyone would go to read their own team's GM, and then shoot to see the Isiah Thomas rip-job (I don't have him last, btw). Thanks for the help, we're still working on it.
I used to really like this guy, but he is doing his umteenth column on his buddies and vegas which you forgot to mention. dude is played. he had so much potential. his column on the whole gold club trial in atlanta was classic. he also had a pure gold column on the gallery furniture bowl. now its just tired.
i would read it all just because i am that curious and intrigued by the nba...i mean there are some teams that are just plain bad and makes you wonder about their gms...
Just do me one favor... when the Rockets part is scheduled to run, don't put some soccer article in its place.
I hear ya. One of my best friends is a huge Hawks fan and I have to hear all the time how he's absolutely dreading draft day because he knows the Hawks are going to lay an egg as usual. I say take the Chinese guy!
If you have to ask, then it means whoever your editor is doesn't know his readership that well. Because I'm sure he thinks we need another article about how the blazers are going to pick Oden as their pick in the draft. Or another one about kobe and trade possibilities.
I'm a Hawks fan - I want them in the play offs in '08 (to devalue their pick that transfers to Phx)! BTW - am I the only fool who cannot find anything more recent than 6/13 by that shameless plugger, Mr K Dwyer???
I'd definitely read it. In fact, I'd be amped to read that. We all have some idea who the top five or so GM's are, and we all have our ideas of who the worst five are, but it'd be interesting to read an intelligent evaluation of all of them.
I'd read it, but could also see how it might make sense to have a shortened version - maybe the list with 1 sentence after each GM leading into the longer article...
Dude, you have to go to this board to see some hilarious BS bashing: http://sonsofthesportsguy.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=1&sid=4f2383edce185496bd7de4b36576ade9 Also to KD, hell yes I would read that column! Sounds really interesting.
I will read a couple of lines at the begining. If it grabs me in the 1st graph I will continue. If not, I will just skim through. Who writes it is not an issue for me. Of course, if the piece is truly what you says it to be, I will read it.
I'd read it. Especially if it had info like length of tenure, overall record, hit/miss draft picks, and duration of contract. That way, we can see when a good one will come on the market for, um, no reason in particular....
