    Your orientation is your business, and you're entitled to a non hostile work environment. But that doesn't garantee that everyone will be 100% comfortable around you. Its just going to take time for society to grow, and once the people around you get to know you better, some of the awkwardness will subside.

    I'm straight but I will say of the 2 gay friends I have, I have never been afraid of them putting moves on me. Although I was friends with them before they came out, I'm not sure if that changes the situation.

    I can see where the fear would come though for people. I've had experiences with girls I'm just friends with coming onto me, or me coming onto them, after a few drinks.

    P.S change your sig, that's a little extreme for something to pop up after every post.
