The "memory" Apps (MemoryInfo, FreeMemory, etc.) don't really free/flush memory. The only way to truly do that on a Touch is to hold down the black button on the top and power it off and then on. The way the Touch manages memory is to "push" things out of memory once a new app is loaded and memory is needed. The "memory" apps simulate doing that to free up some memory. Granted, the memory apps help, but a reset is the best way to flush memory.
