Surprisingly i've heard very little complaints about T-mobile, which is why im surprised regarding their coverage area. Verizon offers the best coverage area out there, but of course, I won't mention their customer support. I've heard lots of complaints about at&t though. AT&T, Sprint and Verizon are all burdened with debt. Guess it doesn't matter if you're only seeking service.
I have that one. No complaints really, just can't figure out how to delete entries in the phonebook. EDIT: I take that back... See that little button with the red phone? It terminates your calls. Hard to get used to that being there if you're used to old school phones.
Deutsche Telekom has $65 billion in debt, I guess mostly thanks to the $30+ billion purchase of Voicestream. T-Mobile is anything but finiancially stable.
This is what I have. I love it, It doesnt have any kind of antennae and fits in the palm of my hand perfectly. Id also like to point out I never have reception problems ANYWHERE.
I know you want a flip-phone, but for anyone else reading this who is just looking for a phone: Can't go wrong with a Nokia 3390 or one of its bretheren. I have completely abused my phone in every way possible. It's been kicked, dropped, stepped on -- I dropped it from the top of the bleachers at a HS Football game, it hit a crosspiece and then landed on a board -- IT STILL WORKS!!! I don't think I'll ever need to buy another phone -- period!!
I just got this one yesterday. Love everything except the size. Its just a little too big. No biggie though, I am going to exchange it for the 7760 in about 2 months. Verizon kicks ass. I've had every single service except for Sprint and Verizon was easily the best. I just got this T-moblie phone because I got it for free and it kicks ass.
Highlight the entry that you want to delete, and then press the "menu" button, the top middle button. You should get a "Phonebook Menu," with a whole slew of options. On the V60 delete is the third option. On a side note, I tried Verizon and T-Mobile, neither of which worked well in my home in Missouri City; go outside and I'd be alright, but I'd drop half the calls in my house. T-Mobile didn't even get service in my dorm or half the buildings in College Station, which I realize few people on this board care about. I've fared much better with Cingular, however. I rarely drop calls, and have had no problems with reception in either city or anywhere in between. If anyone's interested in a V60, it's a great little phone. The only problem I've had with it is that if you keep it in your pocket, the antenna base will eventually snap off. It's happened to me and many of my friend's who have the same phone. The one person who I know whom does wear it on the belt clip has had no problems.
