He could still play now and strengthen the knee to get rid of most of the pain.... But, with the surgery it will all come down to rehab, and how much he puts into it. I hope he does EXACTLY what the doctors tell him to do, but his history with rehabbing is not good. This time it really is "All on him".... DD
who cares. tmac will be on another uniform before all this suppose full recovery would happen. if he indeed does the surgery, it will no longer matter to the rockets as to his availability. i think it is clear that even with him playing, we still ain't no contender. the real championship contenders won't have a player named tracy mcgrady as a major part of their team. the rockets are in the right path....now we should just keep building this chemistry and get another good piece next year from tmac's huge expiring contract....resign artest for about 8 million a year...have brooks and lowry get used to their role then i think we'll be one of the contending teams
too bad the texans franchised him too. hope that doesnt leave a bad impression on him. texans NEED to sign him to a long term deal next year
