Ummm..there was a plain-clothed police officer ON THE SCENE. I'm thinking they would have ultimately been apprehended...but instead they were murdered.

What you think doesn't matter. Now there is no chance. Good.

thank goodness the officer on the scene preparing to arrest the criminals wasn't harmed by horn as he shot at these guys with a 12 gauge shot gun.

Absolutely. It is a miracle the criminals did not do more harm with their actions. Now they can't ever again. What a relief.

That's speculation that ignores the fact that there was a cop on the scene and Horn had plenty of information to pass on to them to make an arrest.

And after Joe Horn goes to jail, neighbors won't have to worry about him firing a shotgun in the front yard again. Whew!!!

Criminals don't get the benefit of the doubt. They would have keep invading homes until stopped. I seriously doubt they would have gotten a job since they were here illegally to begin with.

From what I gather you are saying that if Horn had injured the cop you would blame that on the robbers. That makes no sense as it was Horn who made the decision to go out and confront them in spite of advice from the 911 dispatcher to not do so. The officer on the scene states he was afraid of Horn, meaning Horn was the most immediate threat to his safety, than the robbers.

Oh, don't be so rough on him. Yeah, he murdered two guys on the front lawn, but there's always room for redemption.

No...I haven't had someone shoot me in the back yet. That's pretty cold-blooded. I have been done wrong by some girlfriends in the past, but they never actually shot me.

I'm not saying give the criminals the benefit of the doubt, although I would say they are constitutionaly granted that (innocent until proven guilty) otherwise there wouldn't be a need for a court system.

What I am saying is that there was a cop on the scene to make an arrest and even if he couldn't apprehend them right away there was a witness who could provide a lot of information to the police to track them down. You are treating this as though it is shoot the criminals or let them go scot free. There were other alternatives.

He's more machine now than man. Twisted and evil. He advocates shooting people in the back, against the advice of the authorities, with a shotgun on the front lawn.
