$700 ? Damn. Can't afford that. What's a good starting out shoe for a "young executive" like me?

I just got these Johnston and Murphy shoes for something casual. My Florsheim's were killing me. New shoes are very comfortable.

$200 work? Men's half yearly at Norstrom just ended. They'll more than likely be sending some Allen Edmonds that didn't sell to the Rack. They'll last for ever. Get them re-soled and conditioned by AE if you love them. If you just wanna be platonic with them go to your local cobbler. First pair I ever got was the Fairfax in chestnut. A young man's wingtip (I was back then).

    Can't embed right now:

These are actually really comfortable with their sheep skin interior. I used to work in the men's shoe dept a few years back at dillards and I loved trying on the J&M sheep skin shoes.

Recently purchased these a few weeks ago. Banana was having a 40% off everything sale and snagged them for $85.

I figure these are a good starter shoe for my first real job out of college and then I'll work my way up the quality ladder.
