you really cant go wrong with any of ferragamos leather ware... quality all the way around. most of my dress shoes are bruno magli and mezlan, mezlan being the more inexpensive of the two but quality nonetheless. brioni makes a gorgeous wingtip that i would love to get my hands on but i'm not quite at the point where i can throw $1,600 on a pair of shoes, particularly if they aren't bespoke.
Reviving this thread for shoe recommendations. I'm starting a new job next month and I'm looking to spend about 150 per pair and looking for some good starter quality dress shoes. What should I be looking for when buying dress shoes?
I received an email from Allen Edmonds today about their clearance items. You should check the out. They have quite a few shoes around $200 which is slightly higher than your budget but WELL worth it. I think I have 7 pairs of AE and love them all. Great, great shoes. http://www.allenedmonds.com/aeonlin..._1_image_0_N_127607_127607_130263_subcategory
I could easily buy about 5 more pairs if I wanted to part with about $2k. My next house will be able to handle my upgrade in wardrobe and shoes.
If you want a raise, you NEED these bro! <a href=http://s126.photobucket.com/albums/p88/alancamacho/?action=view¤t=1355097101-picsay.jpg target=_blank><img src=http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p88/alancamacho/1355097101-picsay.jpg border=0 alt=></a>
Does anybody have any experience with the Martin Dingman brand? Seems like a smaller operation, but I've read good things about it from various clothing blogs I look at so I was thinking I might take a shot at a pair.
Allen edmonds run a lil narrow for my tastes...i tried on Gravati's and man..those were nice. soft leather.
try mezlan.....they typically run nice and wide http://www.mezlan.com/?utm_source=A...nt=oXJazTjC|pcrid|1664615277|pkw|mezlan|pmt|e
