Span screwed it up by missing the three in the last second.

    V-Span with the T-Mac-like shot.

Span is not a good shooter.

Why didn't he pass the ball to others who are more capable?

    Ha ha ha, very appropriate.

Greece's Olympics end after Spanoulis basically stands around doing nothing for the last 10 minutes while his teammates run the show, then he resurfaes and clangs the game winning three.

What i do not understand is why do players always try difficult shots in the last seconds, This game GManu and V-Span, en in the game against lithuania Manu did the exact same thing. Why always try a difficult shots.

I did love this game, i love this type of basketbal, a real team orientated type of basketbal (except those last possesions).

Delfino played great. I'm happy Scola got that last rebound. I'm looking forward to USA agianst Argentina

You can't blame him though. He is not the real T-Mac after all. :D

What a great game. Delfino and Ginobili play like superstars. You gotta respect both teams who keep making clutch plays with poise and discipline. I am not sure USA could beat any of them although it is more talented.

    Incredible game.

To bad Scola is still in the Olympics. I hate to have to root against him, then see him get crushed.

Greece had their shot against the USA, Argentina would be better to face them.

I guess this game gives more ammunition to the 'I'd rather be a shooter crowd'.

Ok VSpan missed, but there was nothing wrong with that shot at all....a wide open shot to win, even if he is not the best 3 pt shooter, the team was not going to get a better shot.

I thought it was a good attempt.

As for how my boy played, he played great in the first half, then Prigioni got in his head in the 3rd quarter, and VSpan fell apart like cheap cornbread.
