I don't think Lin reads any of these comments. He's too busy trying to play as best as he can. In fact, I would have less respect for Lin if he takes what he reads seriously. He knows what he needs to improve and do on court.

Let me just say this. If someone in a face to face conversation says something blindingly stupid when we talk about sports, I just tend to end the conversation and move onto something else.

 

I agree, we all know how crazy the LOF's are, there's no need to stir the pot more.

There are "delusional" fans everywhere. Actually, most posters in CL and the Lin site the OP mentioned are pretty reasonable people. For example, the Lin fan site moderator gave a "C+" for Lin's performance against Dallas -- that does not sound too unreasonable. I myself probably would give Lin a "C". Most people at the jeremylin.net site have jumped on the few posters who wished injury on some Rockets players. I myself asked the Admin to ban these posters, but the moderator there doesn't have time to review every posts, so it's tough. I also feel that the Admin at CL site should ban some posters here who post racist stuff, but each to his own. It's their websites after all and they don't charge money, and there are going to be good and bad stuff.

I am a Lin fan (not Lin only fan), and my 2nd favorite player in Rockets is Bev and Garcia.

 

Like jocar but this thread is like seeing an ant in your kitchen, pouring honey everywhere, and then saying "look how any ants there are now!" Yes, there are lots but what was the point of the exercise?

I visited that site jeremeylin.net or something a few weeks back. One of the few mistakes I have made in my life that I genuinely regret.

I felt my laptop shaking its head.

The collective sheer stupidity on that site is mind numbing.
