Yeah if we have to trade for him no way. I was just thinking we could sign him.

I think his point on the 3 Ps is profound!

I mentioned the NYG's hiring Daboll as a smart move; what he's done for that team/Jones is great as both are on track to have their best years in a while/ever. Meanwhile in MIA, Tua has reinvigorated himself under Mike McDaniel's system--he has playmakers, protection and a play caller as well. Heck, even a career bust like Geno Smith has reinvented himself into a franchise leader for SEA that is in 1st place, because he's got the 3 Ps around him and a winning HC.

The recipe for success is not complex, but trying to follow the directions can be. I like the 3 Ps and will keep them in mind as the offseason arrives. Until then let's go Stros!

Why can't we just trade for the backup QB from [insert team here]?

Did you want them to pick Kenny Pickett ahead of Stingley?

Game conditions were godawful for throwing the ball, but whoever had the "Stroud more rushing than passing yards" prop bet made a fortune.

I missed it, but he apparently busted 1 45 yard run at some point.

I did see him scramble out of the pocket for 1st downs a couple of other times. I wouldn't read much into this game, the field was soggy tall grass, in a downpour of rain, with 40+ mph winds.
