Lance was not considered a sure fire pick. Besides Trevor Lawrence, no other qb in that draft was considered a consensus surefire. The top 3 for next year you consider to sure fire. If that’s the case, teams aren’t trading those picks if they need a qb themselves.
This is why it’s about a body of work for college qbs. Quinn Ewers looking bad right now. Let the seasons play out and see who plays consistently well. That’s why I have Bryce Young and CJ Stroud ahead right now because they’ve shown it under all circumstances and over multiple seasons. People are too quick to jump on the next big thing.
Young is just INSANELY good! But Hooker is playing well too. Can't wait to watch Clemson vs Florida State later. How are the other draftable QBs playing today?
Bama defensive backs aren’t very good. Would like to see more tight window throws from Hooker. His offense creates insane space for his targets, but it’s not even close to an nfl style offense.
Bryce Young continues to make play after play after play after play. When plays break down and things aren’t going well he gets his troops together and gets them refocused. Would love to see this young men in a Texans uniform next season.
You don’t know what a special player can do. Just because you haven’t seen it before doesn’t mean it can’t happen. He’s been very durable and clutch throughout his entire career so far.
The Texans game against LV is going to go a long way in determining that. If they lose, I can see them with the 2nd or 3rd pick. Detriot and Pitts are looking really bad now.
All-Name Team LaTrell Bumphus (that's the DL who wears #11) You're talking about Jalin Hyatt (WR #11)
