I do agree Alabama and OSU QBs scare me but Stroud seems to have the " it factor". However, out of all the QBs that came from OSU, not one has stood out. That says a lot. I like what I see from Levis and Richardson but I'm thinking Bryce Young just may slide into the Texans lap due to his size. What do you all think?
That seems like a very realistic outcome. The only thing I disagree with is Stroud having “it” factor. He seems more like Mills, solid arm, has timed speed but looks slow. Has upside but not anywhere near Young or Levis upside. I prefer Levis, but I would take Young. If he was 6’1 he’d be the number 1 overall pick guaranteed.
That'll be suicide. Pierce is showing to be a special player and Nico is on the rise too. You don't want to waste 2yrs of Pierce's NFL career on avg QB play. I don't think in today's NFL you can get to a SB with avg QB play, teams are too good. You need a QB that can make plays when things breakdown. I'm not saying you need a Brady, Mahommes or Rodgers but you at least need a Prescott.
I think with Mills he had some ups and downs last yr. but we thought he would be more consistent this yr, however my main issue with him, as was last yr, is his ACCURACY.
Ppl probably said the same thing about Texas Tech qbs until that #15 came along. Not saying CJ is that but he could also be the one that makes it.
Brady went in the 6th round, Rodgers 24 pick in his class and Mahomes didn’t go in the top 10. None of those guys were considered franchise QBs when they came out. So I hope the Texans can find one like that, (This time preferably one wont spend his free time acting like a weirdo.)
I don't know at this stage and neither does any of us. We didn't know Joe Burrow was going to be as good as he was going into his final yr at LSU. I'm just saying from what I've seen thus far, Mills ain't it and by Pierce showing he's a RB1, we can't waste his prime yrs hoping for Mills to develop into an avg QB.
