I understand the constitutional issue but if the plane remained as a government asset I don't follow the Hunter Biden issues. Don't ASSume, I defended Trump when foreign delegates were staying at his hotels and he was accused of violating this constitutional clause I don't know what it means that this plane will go to his library but if he can still use it it's a very valuable personal gift
We should absolutely do more. I'd like to see all members of Congress forbidden from trading in stocks -- at a minimum, use a true blind-trust mechanism. That they aren't willing to pass a law to curtail their own ability to leverage insider knowledge is unsurprising, but telling about where their hearts lie. But, yeah, we should also not have the president publicly accepting bribes. The transferring of ownership from the government to the Trump-controlled foundation is at the heart of its function as a bribe.

Having the DoD receive the jet from Qatar and then later donate it to Trump's library foundation feels a little like how drug dealers on TV shows register their sports cars under their grandma's name because they think the feds can't touch them.
