Shhh. Don't take the victim card away. They feel better if they can just stick to their false narrative.

As a matter of fact his last post was on July 7th.

Seems to me that the mods deal with the trolls who use race in a way that's very mafia style. They just make them disappear without much fanfare. Too bad not everyone notices.

I tend to think it is the low level rumblings of troll-dom that are a bigger problem. Just keep the pot churning without quite crossing the line. The obvious trolls are easy to spot and to ban; the people who are perfectly capable of reason, but enjoy throwing meat to the dogs to see them fight... those are a harder problem to solve.

Of course, Jeremy could solve it all by just being a kick-ass player next year. Why don't we start a petition asking him to do that? He seems a good guy, I'm sure he'd accomodate us.

Another way they deal with trolls is that moderators will neg you if you respond. Even though they did it to me, I think it's a pretty good way to alienate trolls.

The most effective way to deal with trolls, is to simply ignore them.

At least not quote them and just let their post buried in the thread. Do posts actually become hidden if too many reports were made?
