then George Stephenopolous referred to Trump's hand-picked FBI Director, who had testify to Congress that the FBI would want to know if a public official or a campaign is contacted by a foreign government about influencing or interfering in an election. American officials / candidates should not accept help from a foreign nation, and that they should immediately call the FBI the dotard replied "the FBI Director was wrong" Pelosi / Dem candidates are pouncing on this recent self-inflicted would by the dotar in a press conf, Pelosi calls Trump '"cavaliery", unfit for the office of POTUS Kamala Harris calls Trump's comment constitutes an intent to commit crime
Yea, it is certainly none of America's business whether trump intends to stand up to russian interference in our democratic elections or if he will simply accept putin's help again...
"None of your business" said to a US citizen on the topic of representing the interests of US citizens abroad.
The press secretary only held 2 press conferences this year. It's a one sided twitter based monologue from the stable genius. And interviews here and there when he feels like riling up opposition (which gets his base entertained & keep his popular support steady).
Yeah, it's kinda obvious: as a US citizen, you are just supposed to follow orders now and praise the POTUS on Twitter. Glory be.
Hallelujah. We've had our prayers answered - Trump had a serious tough discussion with Putin about meddling in American elections: Also here is how Trump family runs American Diplomacy (tldr: State Department is NOT involved): https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/wh...-top-diplomats-out-loop-talks-saudis-n1023201 They literally run the United States of America in exactly the same way they run their real estate dealings - all they want to talk about is trade and money. They are going to solve middle east issues, iran and north korea issues by building a bunch of resorts and doing real estate projects! And they won't consult anyone or take into account non-financial principles - they play into all of our adversaries' propaganda machines that America is all about money - trade wars and weapon deals. I really wonder if we have any ideological allies left by this point.. It's dumbfounding. They are not even hiding it. I mean Jirvanka couple are probably the most powerful people in the world these days and no one elected them...
Oh my gosh... trump is such an idiot, so driven to agree and support things that putin says, and/or so driven to view things through hyper-partisan "conservative/liberal" lens, he agreed/defends with putin when he says this: For trump supporters/defenders and those that didn't take Civics or Government in high school... Liberal democracy "Liberal democracy is a form of government in which representative democracy operates under the principles of liberalism. It is characterized by fair, free, and competitive elections between multiple distinct political parties, a separation of powers into different branches of government, the rule of law in everyday life as part of an open society, and the equal protection of human rights, civil rights, civil liberties, and political freedoms for all persons. To define the system in practice, liberal democracies often draw upon a constitution, either formally written or uncodified, to delineate the powers of government and enshrine the social contract. After a period of sustained expansion throughout the 20th century, liberal democracy became the predominant political system in the world. A liberal democracy may take various constitutional forms: it may be a constitutional republic, such as France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, or the United States, or a constitutional monarchy, such as Japan, Spain, or the United Kingdom. It may have a presidential system, a semi-presidential system, or a parliamentary system." Source: https://www.definitions.net/definition/liberal+democracy A certain country was founded as liberal democracy... these words may sound familiar: Source: The Declaration of Independence In other words, its the basic form of government of the United States and many of the western democracies. trump either doesn't know that, or he he is so aligned with russia that he thinks its the wrongly believes our form of government is obsolete. Either way trump is a danger to the United States.
Reminder, putin has been accuse of killing political rivals and numerous violations of international law, and (re: Mueller Report), interfering our elections.
With all due respect Susan, that’s a pretty dumb question. Trumps former NSA pleaded guilty and cooperated with the government against him last time. Trump only trusts family to run the family business. That family business of selling off the US government for Trumps own personal gain and survival. Anyone who hasn’t woke up yet to these two facts yet is sleeping with their head in the sand: -Trump is going to cheat in 2020 by again soliciting help from Putin, North Korea, etc. and do everything he can to remove security on our end. -If Trump is still defeated, he will not leave. Keep an eye this next year and a half what he does to secure “loyalty” with his secretary of defense and the top generals in the military. This man is not leaving office if he can get away with it and you are a fool if you think he will not try.
Trump knows the difference between Liberal Democracy and Liberalism but he’s transparently trying to confuse Americans about the difference because again he’s laying the groundwork to transition the country to autocracy when he tries to stay in office if he is beat. This is his trying to sell the right and confuse them on what it means to be a Democracy and how you really should be asking for an autocracy like they have in Russia. It was so obvious we were headed here I cannot believe people are shocked he’d make this comment. People need to wake up.
Of course, that would assume trump knows how to read. Or that he takes out time from fox & friends, twitter, and sending love letters to despots to get a briefing by his intelligence leadership:
The guy is doing irrevocable damage to the nation's ability to form alliances domestically and abroad - he is eroding the principles (rule of law, liberal democracy, human rights, civil rights, meritocracy) that unite us. If not for the turn coats in the senate who were called upon and given 6 year terms to protect this great nation's principles and the constitution, no matter the current popular opinion. They are supposed to be the wise best people of the nation. Instead they are letting this manchurian candidate drag the constitution through mud by pandering to autocrats whose only claim to power these days is their perceived ability to stand up to US - these autocrats run propaganda machines based on "us against them" - their nations/people literally think "America is the devil." Trump is what will let these people stay in power for years and years longer than they otherwise could - thanks to all the fodder he gives to their propaganda by the things that he says that run absolutely amok of our proclaimed values. He makes us out to be mercantile hypocrites. Our educational system and the new pop culture driven by social media and instant gratification of "likes" have undermined us. Some political leaders have to come up with radical ideas to try and bring a reverse to this. Hopefully Trump triggers this grassroots movement somehow instead of succeeding. But I really want him impeached...
