You are quick to bring up Obama even though trump is weak as water he will go after women but not after putin come on even you have to admit that he looked like a true cowardly clown today.

Trump should have handled this different today.

So I see you are trying your best "What-aboutism" again. That isn't the issue here. I will respond to that if you post it in another thread. There is plenty I could say about it. But that isn't the issue here.

That's a really stupid interpretation of what happened, but I've come to expect takes like that from this forum.

Call it whatever you like, it's exposing your Trump Derangement Syndrome related hypocrisy.

Trump should have handled the entire Putin and election interference differently since he has been in the Oval Office. His handling of Putin and interference in elections is bizarre and has led to a lot of people wondering what is Trump’s motivation.

I really think if he had said that the Russians did interfere in the election and that his campaign had unknowingly accepted help from the Russians; that it would have limited damage to his Presidency. Instead he flat out lies and contradicts what his own party and agencies have said.

You've exposed nothing. You haven't even addressed the actual issue. You simply changed the subject. I told you I would address the post you made if you move it to an appropriate thread. This is about what Trump did and didn't do today.

I think Obama was right to say that, and he was right not to arm Ukraine, like Trump did. I just wish he had picked less neo-con secretaries of Defense and State or at least stood up to them.

That's not "whataboutism", anyway. This is, and it's not a valid defense from the truth, anyway:

Yeah but I really did. Just 6 years ago all of those here on the left had Obama's back as he ignored warnings about Russia from the intelligence agencies and attempted to bend over backwards for Putin explaining to him how he'd be able to give him more after he won re-election and going after anyone who would side with the US intelligence agencies and suggest that Russia was a threat.....but now that those same people blame Russia for going after the DNC we have them thirsty for war. People must die for the assault on their political party apparently.

    LOL!

Trying to defend a salute to North Korean regime and the throwing of US government agencies under the bus over Russia as a work of DIPLOMACY is beyond imbecilic.

Someone is trying to be very USEFUL today.

LOL before you brought it back up, I had almost forgotten that ignorant faux outrage of the day story. You only embarrass yourself by failing to understand the actual symbolism of that incident.

I wish Trump shuts up about Obama. I agree that he didn’t handle Russia properly, but damn, Trump is not doing ANY better. Just shut up and put some work in.

Complete embarrassment. Look at him dreading it, knowing what he has to do. Sad!

To me those issues are more hype and hysteria than anything else. Those sentiments are the default reaction to almost anything Trump does. I don't feel like going back and forth on those issues you mentioned, but I don't think that things haven't changed very much if you look beyond the headlines and cable news/social media talking points. We will see if I'm off base as time moves forward. Also, humanity has become less murderous and less war-like as communication, technology, urbanization, and economic/creative freedom have progressed. IMO those greater trends are not reversing anytime soon, but yes I understand the inherent tribal nature of humanity and the consequences of it. This is why it's important to always think for ourselves and to be cognizant of all sides and not to simply demonize them because they don't agree with a point of view.

Well it’s good to hear some positive change has come from D&D for you. My not logging into the site for a year was related to D&D and the non-stop hysteria, pointless "discussions", etc. I spend way too long writing short posts because it takes me awhile to think thru how to say things as perfectly as I can so I don't get gotcha-ed. It's tiresome with little return value other than working on writing skills. Finding college courses on youtube seems to be more beneficial for me instead. Anyhow, that's my take.
