Not many can defend trump today. It is not the end of the world. Criticism is healthy. Let's improve moving forward. It has been a good ride thus far.
Don't really have the right words to describe his extremely pathetic showing yesterday, so I'll just leave this.
Just a reminder. This actually happened and was recorded- House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy: There’s two people I think Putin pays: Rohrabacher and Trump...Swear to God. Paul Ryan: No leaks. . . . This is how we know we’re a real family here. What's said in the family, stays in the family. https://www.washingtonpost.com/apps...-among-gop-leaders-obtained-by-the-post/2209/
Seems like you are selective with your outrage, you seem to think Trump not outright calling Putin a liar at the press conference was "weak", but when the president goes on TV and says You weren't worried about that message running counter to what every intelligence service in the world was saying....wonder why that is.
Unless that guy developed a liking for the Astros before he joined, or else is using that as a cover, he's a real human Houstonian. His posts in the Astros forum are every bit as terrible and nonsensical as his posts in the D&D. I've had him on ignore for 2 or so years now. But I do peek.
Um......Russia changed after 2012. Putin came back in office in May of 2012. He started the Russian aggression in 2014. But you didn't have Obama believing Putin over his Intelligence community. Putin HATED Obama.....almost as much as Hillary.
LOL that's absolutely adorable. Putin has ruled Russia for nearly 20 years now....he changed his title a few times over the years, but he's ALWAYS been the guy in control over the country. The intelligence community would have let Obama know what a threat Russia was from the moment he took office....and yet he ignored all of that in his comments to Romney....and you didn't have a problem with it because you are nothing more than a partisan hack. Actually Putin hated Hillary more because she was personally responsible for the US attempting to interfere in their elections...which is why he returned the favor by attempting to interfere in US elections. Neither incident had a significant effect on the elections, but they succeeded in pissing the other off. Hell now you have Democrats out for blood wanting a war with Russia because they blame them for not getting their way in the 2016 election. You crazy kids just kill any credibility you might have had with this Trump Derangement Syndrome related hypocrisy.
I think you totally missed my point, Nook. I used an Israel comparison precisely because the PA is an extremely corrupt organization, and the history of Palestinian/Israeli conflict hasn't exactly engendered trust or goodwill. That's why, as Rabin tried to explain to the people who would later kill him, precisely why you talk to them. It didn't mean he was an admirer of Yassir Arafat.
Considering the US invaded Russia in 1918 and sided with the losing side of a civil war for four years, it probably has been worse, but the Doomsday Clock hasn't been this close to midnight since the early 1950s. No one accused Eisenhower of being a traitor for meeting Nikita "we will bury you" Khrushchev in Paris two weeks after Gary Powers was shot down. Khrushchev put missiles near the US in early 1960s, but then, that's what W did in his second term that prompted the Munich speech. I wouldn't say Trump is a dedicated reader of history, but then neither are the people getting hysterical about a summit.
yes, because clearly our only options were our president sucking putins dick in front of the entire world OR nuclear annihilation! you and trump are unhinged brah!
Most Germans trust him more than they do Trump. I don't trust any intelligence agency nor do do I see why any reasonable person would. Their job is by definition deception, to lie to the public. And when it comes to the US security services, they have a very long history of lying to promote war and harassing civil rights leaders. They don't suddenly become credible just because I don't like the president they don't like.
