Hey, I for one hear you. It's too dramatic. But then... unnecessary trade wars, a weaker EU, a frayed NATO, and us accepting cyber attacks, in my opinion, makes the world a less safe place overall. Humanity has shown itself to default to war every so many years. Trade alliances and large defense alliances are built to help prevent a return to form. On the 2nd point there, I've definitely changed my mind or at least moderated my stances on a number of issues just by reading stuff in here. And if nothing else, I really do enjoy hearing the other side of things, to see what they're digesting and how they think about the country.
It's really surreal. I hope the full truth comes out some day, whether its within Mueller's probe or not. It's like, if you were telling a guy to act guilty of colluding with Russia, he is checking every freaking box. LOL. I'm not at all saying he is guilty of anything (beyond his many personal and Trump-identified court settlements, fake universities, sexual harassment, and stiffing contractors and his personal driver, etc.)
I just listened to a trump apologist defend Trump on the BBC. I'm so f""king embarrassed for my country right now. Guy said, basically, that Paul Ryan has never supported Trump so he is essentially a Democrat. It was like listening to BBC interviews from Germany in the 30's. The broenshirts defending him are way worse than the man himself.
