President Trump will hold his first meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin next week on the sidelines of the Group of 20 summit in Hamburg, White House officials said Thursday. “We have no specific agenda,” national security adviser H.R. McMaster told reporters during a briefing on the trip, which includes a stop in Warsaw. “It’s whatever the president wants to talk about.”
I don't know what sounds worst/more dangerous... Trump pushing his people to come up with "deliverables" to provide to Putin, or Trump "just winging it" in his meeting with Putin. Who would have thought we would be even worrying about something like this and a U.S. president...
former CIA intelligence analyst Malcom Nance refers to this confirmed meeting to be a meeting between a gambling addict and his bookie
What ever happened to that chick. She was hot and then she did that Ghost Whisper show and... that was all she wrote.
And... don't forget, questioned whether Russia (and Russia alone) was tampering with US elections... and, if they did, blamed Obama of course.
Trump suggesting doubt about Russia's US election meddling is noted by Russia... "the nuances". Trump Cites Russian Election Meddling But Blames Others Too https://www.bloomberg.com/amp/news/...ssian-election-meddling-but-blames-others-too
LNG to support Europe has been a long time coming, and is only now really starting to be possible. After the shale revolution, it took a while to build LNG export facilities. It won't be cheaper than Russian gas, but we can at least substitute if Russia turns off the supply. This has been the strategy for awhile. But, I guess we can give Trump some kudos for not undermining it.
*shudder*... the two most pro-Russian people in the room representing America. One of them is a known liar. The other doesn't talk to the press. What could go wrong? Six people to attend Trump-Putin meeting: report https://origin-nyi.thehill.com/blog...0876-six-people-to-attend-trump-putin-meeting
If I had an ounce of trust in the president, it'd be no problem at all. What's the expression? If you're not at the table, you're on the menu. I don't feel like I have anyone at the table.
And now, apparently, someone in Trump's administration recognizes what borders on treasonous position of suggesting and ceding to Russia's attempts to influence US elections and is now saying the Russian reporting of how the discussion went was incorrect. US and Russian diplomats share conflicting accounts of Trump-Putin meeting http://thehill.com/policy/internati...ats-share-conflicting-accounts-of-trump-putin So now we are in the unthinkable position... do we believe the people that are actually attacking our Democratic core of our country, people that have lied and lied repeatably? Or do we believe the new reporting by the Trump administration, a president and administration that has also had problems with the truth? The fact that this is even a question is clearly an indictment of how bad it is... and btw, the danger and likelihood of such conflicting stories was clearly stated when the four people in the meeting was first divulged.
