Sure, I bet this comes as a surprise... though somehow Fox & Friends missed this assignment... Fox's Wallace lands exclusive interview with Putin after Trump summit http://thehill.com/homenews/media/3...usive-interview-with-putin-after-trump-summit
Is there any question that Trump is a pawn of Putin at this point? Correction, is there any question from someone who is not a right-wing clown?
That is completely logically consistent. 1. They hacked our election 2. Putie lied to president's face about it 3. We've proven they did it 4. No apology from Russia 5. Okay we're at cyber war-- cancel meeting. No borst for you, KGB thug!
any other POTUS would bring along the indictments to the meeting in Helsinki and demand Putin to effect the extradition of the 12 Russian officials But the harsh reality is that the dotard will not do that in his performance review w his handler
Since this happened at the end of his term, the investigation had just started. They knew the Russians were trying to interfere...but didn’t know the extent. So...how could the Obama administration do in 3 months what it took Mueller over a year to uncover? Nice try though.....Trump is a puppet.
He knew in the summer of 2016, when he told Putin to “knock it off”. The FBI knew in 2015 that Russia was hacking the DNC. Despite all of that, no charges were brought and no investigation was opened.
Obama, for right or wrong, decided not to open the investigation and interfere or influence the election. There were ongoing investigations into the Russian interferences, and Obama did take some actions. The main point, is why try and go over past 'mistakes'? The point is what has happened since, and what is being down now? Will Trump ask Putin and take his word that Putin did nothing? Or will Trump tell Putin we know what he did, and let him know that it needs to stop because there are going to be repercussions. The more it continues the worse those repercussions will be. Trump needs to let Putin know that he's going to protect America's democracy. Trump needs to let America know that he's going to protect our democracy. All of this talk about what Obama did or didn't do isn't useful in this context. It might be interesting in a review of past presidents or something.
Caitlin Johnson is silly. You don't celebrate the easing of tensions because the United States does everything Russia wants and doesn't get any return in securing their democracy and strengthening our alliances. Yes, if the U.S. caves and does Russia's bidding that would certainly ease tensions between the two nuclear powers. But it wouldn't be a good thing.
Obama issued private warnings and made the information public to reporters as well. He didn't file a public official report until after election day so as not to interfere. The United States under Obama issued new sanctions, closed two Russian compounds and expelled 35 diplomats as a result. This might help clear up some of your misconceptions. https://www.npr.org/2018/02/21/5876...a-stop-russia-s-election-interference-in-2016
