Thank you Rockets, and Clutchfans. It was an awesome season and postseason. Sure there were ups and downs but I think this team played hard and did their best in every situation. Next year will be a great year.
Best season in a LONG time. Hopefully this team can build on that and come flooding out the gate next year. We finally answered the detractors that said we weren't playoff material.
Overall, the season was a moderate success because of the solid regular season and the fact that this was the first year since 1997 that the Houston Rockets have played in meaningful playoff basketball, so mad love to the coaches and players for reenergizing the Houston, Texas fanbase for Houston Rockets basketball! My quote to define how we feel right now: "This year, we beat on the door. Next year, we're gonna kick the son-of-a-b**** in."
a short-handed team went 2-2 against the best team in the west. very telling. today the lakers matched the rockets' intensity and the better talent won out. great heart. great playoffs. thank you wounded warriors. never been prouder of a sports team's effort. landy, scola, brooks, hayes. thank you.
I can't begin to say how proud I am of this team. Remeber before we won back to back crowns we had to lose to the Sonics in 92 which all the players said motivated them to do what they ended up doing!!!

rockets lost by 19 but don't lose sight the lakers were held under 90 points... our rockets played defense till the end. just not enough scoring options. SALUTE!
Yep...we still played defense just not enough scoring. Its okay though...next year man...we had 40pts not playing today Lakers can consider themselves lucky.
They didn't deserve to have their season ended like this, but Kudo's for keeping the heads up. inspiring and eft me in awe over these guys.
I experienced the lowest of lows and the highest of (almost) highs. Thanks for a great season Rockets, from the top (Les) to the bottom (whoever you are, mop up that sweat on the court towel girl) thank you for a Great season. Can't wait until next year! Go Rox!
