So Faried was literally killing it for a good minute then he got injured now when he comes back he’s playing minimal minutes and no longer starting. To me the Paul, harden, Tucker, Faried, capela lineup was a energy powerhouse from hell. I’m just confused why they don’t play this guy 20-30 mins like they were unless he’s still recovering He shouldve got more minutes in the warriors game, we need that killer instinct and energy he brings Yeah yeah we got house but I’d take the manimal over house anyday
Houston grabbed less 10 plus rebounds than warriors in that match. Warriors set cousins under the rim. If we want to get more rebounds to have more offensive chances, we need to start Faried. Also Draymond Green is very suck on offense, Faried is enough to win the Draymond green matchup.
Agree with Faried starting or at least getting more minutes with Capela and Tucker on the floor. His D is underrated and he’s a pretty good off the ball defender that has the athleticism to slide over for a block. Offensively opponents have to account for Capela when Harden and Paul drive which leaves Faried open as another option on PnR’s. Plus, he’s the only other player on the floor that brings a defensive intensity like Tucker. He’s always going for the rebound and I love the way he sacrifices his body by diving for loose balls. It’s contagious.
Nope. Trust me. It’s over for Kenneth as a starter. Too shy to shoot, too slow to rotate against the elites. He is off the bench or off the Rockets. I love him off the bench against teams where we can hide him.
Faried should play in the power forward position not as backup center, Nene should be the one to play backup center. Against teams with big center/PF Faried should start alongside Capela, else rockets would loose rebounding battle by huge margin and more likely the game.
Why did Mike D’Antoni pull the plug? Should he give up on basketball too? You guys that think Faried is a viable long term starter at PF have zero awareness when watching the games, outside of the standard box score. You have literally ZERO chance of winning a ring with Faried at PF. End of story... Close thread.
Which part is? I can show you video and examples of each time it was the case. I can show you the exact SECOND that Mike D’Antoni pulled the plug. Did you see it? (Some of us did) There is a reason he isn’t starting, and he NEVER WILL AGAIN. Also, Nice informative response thread starter.
MDA has a short memory with Capela and Faried on the floor together we were grabbing every loose ball and offensive rebound.
You certainly are confused. Faried was not pulled because he was injured. He was pulled as a starter because he shot a dreadful air ball, and then got gun shy and started crashing the paint from the corner three spots instead of taking the open shot, destroying our spacing. Mike saw it and IMMEDIATELY pulled the plug, and we will never see it again. Facts.
I think Faried had a terrible game against GSW. He was outplayed and outhustled on the boards, somehow. His timing was off and I think that was because he was just coming back from the injury. But I think GSW had one of their best runs against us when Faried checked in. Other than that, yes, Faried should get more minutes in general. MDA's rotations is very suck.
