I thought many posters have already pushed the panic button a long time ago by advocating the unloading of Yao due to various bizarre reasons.
What do you expect to happen when you press your 'Panic Button'? The team is not changing, the coach is not changing, it's highly doubtful that any players are going to be traded, maybe Tmac...you can push whatever you like and it won't change a damn thing...people need to wake up and realize how delusional they were if they expected something better than what we have out there.
We should sign Iverson to a two-year for the minimum and let him start. We need a "go to" player...well there he is. Trade lowry since we probably won't be able to resign him.
y do people have to overreact to everything. I was upset after ppl said how good the team was doing after only 10 or 15 games into the season and how we didnt need t-mac. At the same time i dont want ppl to put pressure on him like he is just gonna turn this team around. yea t-mac will help us, but at the same time i just want to see him on the court god dammit. If we cant see the practices can they atleast give us an update after each of them
We've had a very tough schedule. I would like to see Mcgrady back ASAP but I think we'll be ok either way.
Panic button? The season just started and Rockets are at .500. This is not a throwaway season, but there's a ton of basketball left. All sorts of things could happen with McGrady. He could play well and give the team a lift. He could get traded. The Rockets could get some interior help, some size. One of the young guys could start playing more consistently. A lot of things could happen. The season just started. Just a few games back, everyone was talking about how good the team was. When are people going to stop overreacting to one or two games and acting as if the last game played was the end-all, be-all, indicative of how good the team is and how the season is going to go? That's almost never the case. Settle down.
Teams have woken up and stop guarding Shane and Chuck... Especially as the misses build up. Don't get me wrong I enjoy watching Shane and Chuck in the other phases of the game (D, rebounding, help D, etc...)... But we need points against good defensive teams (Spurs) and those that can put up points (Dallas). Basically, not enough scoring options and not enough D when they come out of the game.
What panic button? What if Morey wants John Wall? There is a difference between panic and a plan to build for next year.
