Pure Speculation: Could the Rockets go after LeBron James?

If we go the Golden State route and move Lin and Asik's contracts for nothing in return (may have to give up a few picks) we can free up around $12m, and if necessary move around Jones or Motiejunas for additional room to get LeBron on board.

Just a random bump because the thought crossed my mind just now. Houston would have a better team with LeBron than any team in the league right now. Plus we're young and would continue to improve, unlike Miami.

And knowing Morey, he'll surely reach out to LeBron's camp this summer. He has no reason not to.

 

Hahaha to assume that morey hasnt planned for every scenario is ridiculous. because unlike our other sports team ,the rockets management and front office dont rest on their laurels.
They better be aiming for lebron. Anything is possible. He credits dream with helping him developing into the player he is today.
