Hi All, I'm looking for some advice around purchasing NBA tickets. I am from Sydney, Australia, and will be travelling to the States in March 2016 for a Bucks (Stag according to most of you folk!) Party. We will be in LA for the night of Lakers vs Cavs on March 10th 2016. This just so happens to be the most expensive Laker game all year I believe... Is it best to lock in tickets now? Or should we be waiting closer to the date to purchase? We will be happy to pay a reasonable amount for tickets and are looking for 6-7. Also, apart from Seat Geek does anyone know any other good sources? Unfortunately from a logistics point of view I wont be able to see a Rockets game. I tried to reorganise the trip around this but to no avail. Anyway, all recommendations would be much appreciated. Matt.
From my experience with Rockets tickets: For terrible teams the tickets tend to get cheaper as the game approaches. For good teams the tickets tend to get more expensive as the game approaches. I usually use Stubhub or Vivid Seats but I'm not sure which service is the best. I'd buy the tickets now if you're looking to purchase that many.
Why wouldn't you purchase them directly from the arena hosting the event? https://tickets.axs.com/eventShoppe...akers-vs-dallas-mavericks-tickets?&ref=evs_fb Change event to the game vs the Cavs, pick the seats you want and how many, then pay for them. if you're purchasing them from a third party, probably next to impossible to find 6-7 seats together.
