Purchasing a new AT&T Phone

    So I ended up going with the Samsung Focus. Check this out guys: it was free with a 2 year contract renewal at BestBuy. I went to ATT store and it was 49.99 there. I just ended up paying ~42 dollars for the sells tax. Pretty good price for the phone IMO.

    IOS 5 is due in September/OCT. New Notification system that is being praised as being better than the other out there. Also, bring the new icloud functionality.

    Now, you can forget about getting updates for your phone. Samsung will not update their phones after 6 months. You wont be getting "ice cream".

    I do like their notification system but I hate the fact that for the first time... they had to take an idea from someone else. It's pretty obvious that they designed it based on how the Android one is, that's my only knock on it. What I like about Apple is that they're usually original with the way they do things.

    Yo guys sorry to bump this old thread

    but im looking to upgrade from my shattered iPhone 4 to a new phone

    and personally i would love to go the android route but i dont know the good android phones for AT&T. So any insight or knowledge would be helpful.

    Should i upgrade to the iPhone 4s? or get a droid?
