Exactly. We can't fear anyone. I don't care how good Gallen has been. I expect a win tomorrow.

There is no such thing as an automatic win

Nonsense. Don’t watch tomorrow then if you already know they’re going to lose

Being so dramatic after the 1st game of a 4 game series the stros aren’t even playing in. And yet the stros still control their own destiny

The Astros control their own destiny for the WC.

They need the Rangers to lose at least 3 in order to have a chance at winning the division.

The benefits of winning the division are such that you do not give up, it must be taken from you.

Rooting for Seattle in game 1 is giving up.

If the Rangers win 2 or the Astros lose 1, then we should root for the Rangers so the Astros clinch a playoff spot.

Until that happens - keep the faith.

I used to get so excited when we had a mathematical chance to get to the playoffs. Now I'm just like, "Just get it over with."

I have no confidence at all. I'm more excited about the Texans than the Astros which you could not have convinced me of just 6 months ago.

My issue is the name creates more fandom/attention than it hurts.

Nobody from Dallas is not cheering because it's Texas, but people outside Dallas are cheering because it's Texas.

Rangers could easily fall apart after that outcome last night. Let’s win the division and avoid the extra playoff round.

Is it just me or was that ball pretty catchable by Carter last night? Seemed like he could have grabbed that

I didn't watch it but was listening.

The Seattle (can't stomach Rangers announcers) PBP guy made it a point that Texas OF were exceptionally shallow earlier in the AB. I can understand that w/ less than 2 outs but not in that situation.

Hate these late games though. They wreck havoc on my sleep. Ugh. Lol.

The O's have the Division wrapped up and TB has the #1 WC wrapped up so TB doesn't have anything to play for these three games against TOR. I would expect TB to be resting quite a few players.

Tampa can't win the division and assured the #4 seed already. They may set up their rotation and not really care about winning (treating it like Spring Training). :(

Unless Tampa Bay doesn't want to face Toronto as the 5th seed.
