Right after Ferrell is where I draw the line for SNL unfunniness.

SOme of his skits were absolute stupidity (the cheerleaders) and some were good (Harry Carey). I didn't think a whole lot of his stuff involved much talent nor was it downright hilarious, but he showed potential.

He was, sadly, the funniest cast member on a tanking cast of SNL.

For those of you who think Will Ferrell is dumb and unfunny based on his SNL characters, it's not enough to judge him. Anchorman is one of the only films this year (out of maybe 3 or 4) I am looking forward to seeing.

It's been posted, but again worth watching again:

I loved his character in Starsky and Hutch, possibly my favorite that he has done. I am a big fan like many of the other posters and will be seeing it, but I understand where the people who dislike him are coming from and I don't think any artist is inherently good or bad, it is all a matter of personal preference.

Oh, and from Mr. Mooch's link, it is about 1:30:00 in, so you will need to skip forward a bit.
