    you're absolutely right, but unfortunately for a huge percentage of americans, its their entire nest.

    That't assuming they correct the problems so we will be able to see some of this money.

    Well yeah, but the point was that SS was not a bad program inhernetly or anything - it's actually a very good one.

    I don't know when SS started to be associated with "retirement" but that was definitely a BAD move.

    A lot of good intentioned things tend to go bad, it's a shame a lot come from our government.
