    This is a reasonable question.
To answer that question, you have to look at how the whole team plays including Yao and where we are this season.

We need to develop many plays, many options and players. We can not just depend on TMac and Yao the whole time. Many people need to contribute for us to make some noises in the play-off later on.

TMac has plenty of plays, that is fine.
Sura does too because he controls the ball. Of late, you can argue that he dribbles a bit much but you have to remember there is a fine line between a lot of dribbling vs what a PG has to explore to create shots for himself and others. As long as he gets the ball to the right people for the most part, it is OK. You can't expect him to be perfect.

JVG calls a few plays for Wesley to run off screen and it is good to keep him sharp. He gets shots from a double team on TMac or Yao too.
Howard gets his shots at the FT circle off a screen or a double down on Yao. I actually have liked to see him get a few more post up against players he can take on.
Taylor gets the same kind of shots plus a few more posts up.

We have other players who never have plays called for them.

Yao has not been very sharp in many games, his foul trouble and stamina has kept him on the bench more. Maybe in some of his stronger games, he could get a few more shots. Other games, he was not up to it. Overall, his touches are not too far off. The better his stamina holds up, the more shots he will get, I am sure.

Last year Mark Jackson was in charge when Francis wasn't playing PG and he didn't catch this much heat. Is Mark better than Sura? Um, no.... Sura looks to create and Yao is a catch and shoot. Yao needs to loose the lead feet and use his height more. I'm 5-10 and could beat Yao to a Jump-Ball. I love Yao but don't blame Sura because Yao can't assert himself better. I would love to have an all-star PG but Sura does an decent job. Wait, maybe Tito Maddox can come back and then we'll have the perfect PG we desire. Lets face it, we have worse problems at other spots.

CLOSE this thread! Sura is the X-factor on this team right now! Enough said.
