At the time, I was married to my first wife, we had had two kids already (a boy and a girl) and had zero desire to have more. Birth control totally mess with my (then) wife's system and made her more of a crazy b**** then she already is\was. It made the most sense. Getting a vasectomy was easy greasy. It took maybe 20 minutes and in a couple of days I was back to normal. If you are absolutely sure that you will not have anymore kids, it is the way to go. Eventually I jettisoned the crazy woman and met my wife. She is super awesome and treats me like gold. Seriously, Swedish women are vastly underrated. She has no kids and if anyone ever deserves to have their own, she does. It took me several years to get used to the idea of having another kid and part of it was the idea of going through a reversal. It was expensive ($10k) and I knew it wasn't going to be fun. I have two 2" incisions on my ball sack that are still fairly sore but it's getting better. Here's a pic of my beanbag: Spoiler
The fact that I clicked on the spoiler tag is really making me ask some tough questions about myself this morning.
Really? Mine took maybe 5 minutes. I do agree on easy greasy comment tough, day after sucked but was back to normal in about three days. Best part is not having to protect the basket. Sure is 2 boys, I'm good. No more deposits from me. Doc gave me speech before mine. Price of reversal, succes rate and all that. We figure if we really want another kid we're adopting.
