If you loved Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead as much as I did, you will love this movie as well.

I didn't enjoy it as much as I did Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz. I thought it was pretty slow to start and seemed almost a mashup of the previous two films.

The most fun I had at the movies all summer long. The fight scenes where choreographed by one of Jackie Chan's stunt team.

It didn't quite work for me.

    It's weird with those guys..

Shaun of the Dead is one of my favorite movies ever, I mean, I absolutely love that movie.

But Hot Fuzz, I never saw it in theaters, and on video, I have literally never been able to get all the way through it - it is an absolutely *unwatchable* movie for me, and I have no idea why. It just loses me and I never can finish it in one sitting. I ought to love it, but I don't.

    And World's End, I liked it ok, I'll give it a 7/10

But. Pegg's Gary is such a dreadfully unlikeable character, I could not root for him at all, I didn't feel any sympathy at all for him, and that's just not a good thing for the protagonist of a movie. And the bizarre ending, I don't know, it looked to me like they were a little lost when it came to finding a way to end it.

Maybe I need to have a 3-film all day long film festival of SotD, Hot Fuzz, and World's End when it comes out on Blu, and perhaps the pieces will fall into place for me.

I never thought much of Hot Fuzz either. It was a meh at best. Could be because of all the hype since Shaun of the Dead was epical of epic proportions.

I hope this one will be better.

I thought it was excellent a bit darker and more somber in spots but still loads of fun.

It's last about 15 mins too long but still a solid way too finish up the trilogy.

I really really didnt enjoy it. I was fighting to stay awake.

Of course, I really really didn't enjoy Shaun of the Dead (the beginning of that movie was SO GREAT, rest was a total let down), and Hot Fuzz was pretty bad, too.

No more Simon Pegg movies for me.
