    Web Update

As of right now I have uploaded
    Main Page(PSJ)
    Roster Page(Heath)
    Standing page(BGm)
    Midwest(BGM) and Central(castor) Pages
    Rockets, Jazz, Spurs(BGM)
    Pistons(castor)

If you guys want to go with Heath's style that is fine Just e-mail me the links were I can go to transfer the files over. Don't worry about the links to go from page to page. I am taking care of that on my end. Just make sure that you put the text in there and make a dummy link for now(if you don't understand what I mean just keep doing what you have been doing). i am having to change some file names to make sure everything is clean and not cluttered. I will probably be around sporadically this weekend so I am not sure how much work I will get done. But if you send the links to your files(or send the files themselves,be sure to include any graphics files needed)I will get them uploaded ASAP.

So, just to be clear on things, the division admins job is to make a page for each team using the Heath's template? Then during the season, we keep the stats and other info updated?

I have started to get more bone to the Boston Celtics teampage. I have added comments so everyone can see my thoughts - and I will continue to edit this to get closer to the finished product. It is the same link as over - I will just change that page as I go along - I'm not going to update them in several versions as I did before.

I will make it easier for everyone.

I command all of you to use Heath's format. [IMG]

Heath, put the player's pictures at the top. best place, imo.

I like that page, I guess the reason I didn't have the chart with each player and their stats is because I don't think we've ever gotten that many stats for these players. We normally just get points, minutes, and one more stat for stat requests.

When I was messing around with the nba.com chart, I noticed a lot of holes where stats are unknown, thats why I set up my page to just have stats the way Cat gives them to us.

Personally I think I put too much stuff on my Jazz page b/c I was bored. We don't necessarily need "recent news" or a review of the offseason. I was just bored...

I do like the starting 5 idea with the pictures, it's pretty easy for me to put those pictures on each page too with netscape composer. I just steal them from espn.com player profiles.

Anyway, I think we should all work on one team page and make it how we like it, and then create the other pages.

I'll play around with your temp Heath...

Okay maybe I'm just stupid and can't figure this out, but can you get rid of the nba.css, lga.js and utils.js from your page. Every time I try uploading a page from the nba.com template I always have errors involving those files, can you get rid of them on your page?

I don't know what you use when you try to edit pages but I saved the page PSJ made first with Explorer 5.5 (File - Save As) It then saved the file to what name I gave it and all files that page used in another folder. This page uses the files you mentioned but they are located in a different folder for me.

When I edit the HTML/JAVAscript I use something advanced (not) like WordPad [IMG].

But to answer your question - yes you need to have access to those files as they are used to give the pages the NBA look. [IMG]

Hey Heath, I am having a similar problem that someone else was having earlier. I am editing my division's pages through Frontpage, and when I view it, the stats and expert analysis, etc are all way right, and I can't seem to get it to move them flush with everything else. The left side of the stats section starts at the right side of the CC.NET Sim Page title... I am at a loss as to how to fix this...

I had the same problem. What netscape version are you using. I have 4.7 but I also have 6.1. It will not load correctly with 4.7 but does fine w/ 6.1. I actually hate 6.1 as a browser but it does handle html composing better(except for making links). I also had no trouble with IE but you cannot compose graphically with it. And writing and finding code is a pain.
