i don't know how anyone in houston can get up the nerve to complain about the cold and wish for 100 degree weather again. it's cold like 4 days a year. if nothing else it should be a nice change of pace.

i love this weather. cold enough to be really cold in the day but not so cold that your face freezes off when you go outside. i walked around a little just to enjoy it b/c it'll probably go away pretty soon if last winter is any indication (especially since this summer was mild just like last summer).

cold, windy, and overcast but with no rain. i absolutely love that and that's how it was most of the day. especially when i walked out of my apartment and it was real quiet as well. it feels like some open desolate plain and i like that feeling every once in a while.

    "Get up the nerve?" LOL.

My nerves are fine, it's the runny nose and stopped up head I can't stand. While I choose to live in the south because I dig the warm weather, I don't mind the mild winters, as long as they don't last too long. When it drops 40 degrees in a day, that's when I gripe. The allergies, they hate that chit.

I seriously don't understand how anyone digs cold, overcast, windy weather. It sucks hard in my opinion. Some of us enjoy the heat, sun and outdoor pool/beach/lake activities and miss them when they're gone. Being stuck inside while the tropical storm artic winds blow sucks azz.

The one plus about our winters- Low Reliant Energy bills. That's it.

I miss my pool parties something hardcore. :(

I rather it be 100 degree and boiling outside than it being freaking cold.
It was cold enough to be really really cold today, and yeah, it froze my ass off. I had to go buy something to eat for lunch today.

It was cold, it was soo damn windy, and it was a drizzling cold rain. It was so damn windy, i had trouble walking on some steps.

    The rain felt soooooo cold.

    It was cold.

    Real cold.

    oh so cold.

    Real real cold.

I hate snow and ice, but I love cold weather - it's the best weather. It's crazy weather up here in the Dallas area. It was in the upper 70's a day ago with people wearing shorts at a Lowe's that I dropped by. Today it's currently 28, snowing/sleeting, and dropping to 22. lol.

I dislike the cold. That's why I live in Houston. However I can handle a few days of this shizznit. Besides, I really like it when it's 72 degrees in wintertime, and we're playing golf while the rest of the country is freezing it's azz off.

That being said, I dig it when it is hotter than hell in Houston, cuz the ladies run around wearing next to nothing.... :D

Born and raised in Houston. LOVE the "cold" weather. Especially during the holidays. It's SUPPOSED to be cold during the holidays!!

If I was born and raised in Chicago, I would probably hate cold weather. Grass is always greener on the other side.

Don't forget the humidity. It's good for the skin. Another reason Texas women are so hot. And I LUUUUUUUV my lady's smooth skin........savvy?

    Listen to you whiny babies..

    Wah..Wah..Wah..WAH its 32 degrees..

    Wah.. Wah.. Wah..Wah its drizzling..

We're wearing shorts when its 32 degrees. You want some cold the highs today here is in the mid 20's and last night the low 4 degrees.

Luckily for us though the worst of the storm is passing to the south and Chicago is really being nailed.

^ Since I've moved to MN I can handle both extremes. This past summer it hit 100 and we had several days over 90 with high humidity. There were a few days when it as in the high 90's and close to 110 with the heat index that I was out mowing my lawn with my push mower. My neighbors thought I was crazy. I was calling them cry babies for not wanting to do anything outside just cause it was a little hot.
