[PSA?] Sex Offenders in your area

i have a huge sex offender sign on my front lawn, but that's just to keep away solicitors

17 is always legal. so 19 year olds can have sex with 17 year olds, but 40 year olds can also have sex with 17 year olds. The legal age of consent in Texas is 17.

If the "victim" is under 17, 3 years in age is generally allowed as long as the victim is a minimum of 14 years old (e.g. 16 and 19 is okay, 14 and 17 is okay, but 14 and 18 is not okay)

 

There are some sad cases of kids getting screwed over, but if you look at what most of those men did (not a single woman in my area) it's pretty disgusting.

If they have a sex offender registry why not a violent crime registry as well?

 

Started on the chron weather blog a few years ago during hurricane season. Someone asked that question seriously, regarding a storm that posed zero threat. The meme was born from that.
