I was actually considering switching to XBOX because most of my friends play games on it but after all of this.....PS4 is looking much better.
That's the average asking selling price... Also fake bidders ran up the price but didn't commit to purchasing it. The number of sales was low the first week bc sellers were not getting their asking price. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=12793 http://community.us.playstation.com/t5/PlayStation-3/hahah-someone-is-putting-fake-bids-on-ebay-to-screw-the-sellers/td-p/20614072 http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=120112
No, those are actual average sales prices. I link to actual data and real reports. You link to message boards. I watched the sales prices on the PS3, since I wanted one, but had to work on launch day. Were there fakes? Yes, the over $10k bids obviously weren't real. Not sure if you are a troll, no memory, or perpetual liar.
Wrong, that is the priced when auctions closed with fake bidders. They are reported as sales price even though there is no proof of actual sales. Everyone over the internet was aware of this which is why it's all over forums.
I think this board has been a Sony leaning board, but obviously Xbox One has screwed themselves. They had to be hoping Sony was going to follow the same direction. Sony had to be thinking this was an easy way to steal Xbox customers.
I am purchasing the Xbox. They haven't let me down yet and I still believe their online interface as well as the partnerships they have access to in order to provide content make it superior.
Yeah, Sony quality is light years ahead of MS -- the XBone has already taken a lot of big hits, but upon release if they start having quality controls issues (again) they are truly screwed.
What happens if I have an Xbox and it goes more than 24 hrs without Internet connection....does the thing explode or do I get to plug it in and keep playing? I don't get the end result.
I like Xbox's games a little more but I'm disappointed with some of M$'s decisions. I'll wait at least a year before buying the next system. Hopefully they'll "fix" some of these issues.
I play most of my games by renting through GameFly. XB1 isn't supporting rentals (at least not at launch), PS4 is. Easy decision. I'll get to play more games with a PS4 than I would with an XB1.
Realistically I will probably buy both. And a WiiU. Timing just differs for all of them. WiiU: Will pick this up in time to get X on launch day. Could potentially buy earlier for Monster Hunter-ing, or if they come out with some other great stuff before X. PS4: Will pick this up in time to get FIFA 15, meaning September 2014. Could be earlier if I see an exclusive I'm desperate to play, or if the PS3 version of FIFA 14 seems really gimped. XBone: Will pick this up... later. Don't really know when, but I assume I'll get it eventually. The only exclusive announced that I know I really want for it is Mirror's Edge 2, but that's not a system-seller for me like X is for the WiiU. And who knows, it may end up being a timed exclusive. But regardless I can't imagine it won't eventually hit a critical mass of exclusives I want to play.
Xbox One better bank on the "casual gamer" because if this poll is any indication (it IS made up of more diverse demographic than some gaming forums), Xbox One is in a world of trouble.
Xsatr sorry but you got called put and pwned. I was going to say the same thing you linked to forums and random internet posters like yourself where juicystream linked to actual data, articles based on fact.
Based on the information available now it seems like you wont be able to play your game or maybe even use the system.
Reasons I am buying a PS4: MLB: The Show. I am also interested to play any game that Naughty Dog releases. I don't ever buy used games but I like to be able to sell back crappy games. The XBone (pronounced ex-bone) hasn't showed me any exclusives that I am interested in yet. I thought Dead Rising was a fantastic game but I thought Dead Rising 2 (or as I call it, Dead Rising Again) was terrible. So the jury is out for me on Dead Rising 3. Halo doesn't interest me. If MS comes out with great exclusives and shows me some really cool stuff with Kinect (I want to see how they use Kinect for Halo, even though I am not a big fan), I will buy the XBone as well as the PS4. I have both versions right now, and I had both versions last gen, so I'll probably end up with both eventually next gen.
