Yah haha I'm in no rush anyways. Seriously though I bet some people do rush through everything in 5 days or so.
The Playstation Gold Wireless headset is pretty awesome for $100. The Glacier white is very clean. I is ready for tomorrow/midnight.
I haven't spoken to one person who actually played it and didn't like it. I realize they exist, I just don't know any.
a) Who do you know that is level 20? b) My understanding is there is more than 1 raid. c) There's multiplayer / pvp. d) After level 20 you can gain additional levels with items. e) There will definitely be more to do after the expansions f) If I spent as much time as I did wandering around the alpha and beta when there was only 1 planet to go to, I'm positive there will be things to do after level 20.
So I bring it home, and there's already a 290 MB patch out that you have to download. Whatever. I apply it, and what comes up? I have to transfer 16 GIGABITES of data to play it! Really Bungie? This is what you want your consumers, most of whom have to go to work or school in the morning, to see right off the bat?
LOL School or work tomorrow can't be that important to anybody going to get a video game at midnight the night before...
Took me 2 minutes to download the update and the 16 gb install is treading at about 10 minutes from the initial disk insert. Don't plan on playing it tonight, but was curious about how long it would take to install. Oh, my GS had 6 hooter girls there for the midnight launch. I got there a little late, but the others told me there was about 150 people there for the launch (damn!). Luckily my local GS was well prepared and had everyone in and out in 30 minutes. I only had to wait ten minutes since I came late, I had to wait longer (15 mins) to get my whataburger (regular w/jalapeno).
Played the opening and it feels a hell of a lot smoother then the beta. Not sure if they bumped up the fps but the game is a joy to play and the controls are smooth as butter
Messed around in Russia for a while on the patrol mission doing side quests and bounties, got up to level 8. Not bad so far, head shots are satisfyingly damaging. Playing a Titan and running with a rifle, sniper, and rocket launcher and don't really get in trouble unless I do something stupid. On a side note, does anyone know where that armory preorder bonus is? Do you have to go somewhere? Don't think I've seen it anywhere.
Yea, I don't know where to obtain the preorder bonus armor or the ship from GS either. I'm level 3 and probably won't be able to play much until the weekend. If anyone knows, it would be great!
