Just ordered mine. If they charge me now I guess it's no big deal but I hope they wait until it ships because I don't like loaning money and I also just spent a PS4 sized bundle of cash at the titter celebrating Father's Day.
Was mentioned earlier in the thread, but yeah, Amazon doesn't charge until they're shipping the item. I've had things I've preordered that ended up NOT being released (or delayed indefinitely), and Amazon had to cancel my order. Would be nasty if they charged me then had to cancel 6+ months later. They do lock in the lowest price though, so if for some reason Sony decides to raise the PS4's price to $450, you'd only be charged $399.96 (or whatever). Or if Sony prices it at $375, you get charged $375 when it ships. (of course, neither will happen, and Amazon would likely just cancel orders if something crazy like that happened, but that's an example of how Amazon does things...games are probably a better example)
Uh, what? Just pre-ordered a BF4 bundle. Can anyone confirm that I won't get charged until ready for ship?
