    From what I understand, EB/GS will be checking their databases for anyone who reserved more than one system, and if someone did preorder multiple PS3s, ALL orders will be cancelled (no PS3 for you).

    There are already some aunction up on eBay for PS3s. The two I saw were asking for $2000 and $4000.
    edit: And one just got a bid for $1325.

    quick question. i reserved one and was #6 out of 8, with the chance there might not be that many. if i dont get it at launch does anyone know how long it takes for the second shipment to come in?

    I don't know what number we were (somewhere around 10 thru 15 I'm going to guess), but I got my preorder in, and so did Gummi Clutch.

    That's great guys! My wife had an ultrasound this morning so I got to my store late and didn't get one. :(

    I'm on the short list if there are any cancels though (fingers crossed).

    I just drove all the way to FYE in Almeda Mall just to get number 10 on the list for PS3's. He said they will try really hard to get them before Christmas. Woot.

    My friend told me he will just Ebay it. Yeah for $5000

    What a crappy way to do preorders, I had signed up with like 4 or 5 gamestops around here and I'd didn't get one call

    The crappy part, at least for me, is that I'd talked to like 5 or 6 managers and they all told me there were going to be no preorders period

    I wasn't planning on getting a PS3 yet, so I didn't camp out. I went in yesterday to pick up MKA (which is pretty interesting) and while I was there I asked about the Wii. I was told that GS will be doing preorders, and they should start them either at the end of this week or the first of next week. They still did not have a date yet, but they said they should have the info soon.

    Still pisses me off, I just had a conversation with a Gamestop manager about 2 weeks and they gave me the same BS, oh well that's life I suppose

    I would say about 85% of those units will end up on EBay
