I denounce having ever taken @basso seriously. Man the treasure trove of old @basso posts about freedom and democracy is so ****ing deep you need James Cameron and that old lady from Titanic to dig it all up. Boy used to scream traitor every time he had a mildly discomfort-laden bowel movement circa 2003 And here he is cheering when a bunch if ****nuts literally killed people to take a physical **** on their country's government Shame on you boy.
He thinks he is a 'conservative', he thinks he has some moral high ground. He thinks people like him are the USA. He thinks socialism is bad, yet our country has social programs for everything but the one thing that it should have socialistic programs on, health care. He thinks tax breaks trickle down to the middle class. He thinks an authoritarian government is just all right if it's authoririan for his worldview.
Below is my favorite basso post of all time - for having the temerity to note the Bush Administration's failures to secure any viable future in Afghanistan after doubling down in Iraq (note, how is that Afghan war/democracy going, for the last 20 years? Note even I was likelwrong about that, not going to a pointless war in Iraq probably wouldn't have ultimately made a difference - Afghanistan was probably not "win"able ever; that still doesn't mean the Iraq war wasn't, as DJT puts it "a horrible complete disaster" ) Also, I didn't even know what the word kith meant. Thanks for that!: Refugees, women, freedom, -> Trump, White Supremacists, Proud Boys. It's been quite an interesting trip for @basso ! Be well friend. I see a happy cable news facebook parler laden future as you reach your golden years
you're either against violence in all its forms, or you excuse some when it suits your purpose (i would say politics, but i don't believe you have an actual core principles, other than "my tribe good, orange/bush man bad.")
Let me key you in on a little secret as someone who actually fought in these wars. There are more Islamic extremists abusing their women today than there were before the 1 trillion dollar War on Terror began. Who would have thunk... War destabilizes. War begets more extremism.
