con's-does cost a load, insurance is higher than a mother, the girls i get usually end up suing me for child support, and maintenance is a b!tch.

i worked at the Wixom Manufacturing Plant in MI that assembled Lincoln LS, Continental, Towncars and the new Thunderbird. I loved driving the LS (but not as much as the Thunderbird).

After the body style change in the early 2000's (was it 2002?), the ride went from smooth to sporty. My mother-in-law drives what you posted, and it rides smoothly. So I tried the 2003, and the ride was horrendous. I bet if you try the newer ones, they may have fixed that but, in that span, the suspension lost its touch. :(

2003 Honda Accord. Drives like a dream. LX model though. I should have gotten the 4 cylinder though.

Cons: I have to replace the damn thing because the catalytic convertor is shot and it costs $2275 just for the parts affected and $3000 when you include labor. Therefore, it won't pass a state inspection. The blue book on the car is $1500. I would be a r****d if I fixed it. So, instead of being out $3000, I'm about to be out $30,000 .

It's a Ford minivan. Yea...I don't understand it. Their $200 online for my model. The rep also said something about replacing the front and rear Y pipe...which I guess is connected. So, I guess it is more than just the convertor.

He basically said a sensor was faulty and mixing the fuel too rich. This caused a meltdown situation of the convertor. Because I refused repair, I didn't get the exact costs breakdown printed out on what all needed to be fixed. He gave me these numbers over the phone so I may have missed jotting something down.
