    Once again MacBeth,you convinced me.
My vote goes for Larry Brown. If we can't get him,my second choice is Mike Dunleavy.

Interesting. It sounds, to me, like Doc -- or a new list.

Brown is terrific, JVG is excellent, 'but to both. Hire either 'ok', 'but'.

Give me Doc -- and he will come here -- if promised the GM's role, as well (within three years).'

Yeah, his last stint was 6 years, but he felt like he was getting a new team every year (with the only constant being Iverson, whom he traded away to Detroit, but Matt Geiger denied the deal). Seriously, I doubt he'd love having the same team year after year, he finally got a GM spot in Philly so he could change the team to his liking in the offseason. The only reason JVG left was because the Knicks had no loyalty to any of the players on the team, and at one point every player was "on the block" until they were completely untradeable or actually had been traded. Larry Brown has left his teams due to boredom, JVG left the Knicks because he knew the organization was going NOWHERE (which is also the reason why he wants to go to Cleveland or Houston and not New Orleans). That's the difference between them.

I think Larry Brown will retire.
I think Mike Dunleavy would be okay.
But Doc Rivers would spark a flame under the team, he would have Steve Franchise a major stud next yr and Yao Ming would be dominate we would keep the team exactly like it is and still be in the 5 or 6 spot of playoffs!

    my list:
    Doc Rivers
    Mike Dunleavy
    Paul Silas

Doc Rivers would attract Free Agents because of his loyalty to players like Rudy T. ask Grant Hill and T-Mac

    OKAY.

    If Larry Brown retires.........oh God.

The Rockets better not focus too much on Brown. They have to balance it to make sure they can get the next best possible............if Brown retires. :(

    How would y'all describe Rudy?
