I don't know about Old School or anybody else who has replied to this thread, but I think we're missing a very basic point. Let me preface with this: The ONLY thing we really know is how we FEEL about a thing. It heartens me to listen to Bush these days. My chest size expands by a couple of inches when I see our service personnel (this happens a lot living in San Antonio). I get prideful when I watch the FD & PD anywhere. I smile knowing the difference between our political parties fades during times like these. And I feel really great when I see people I know share the same feeling as mine, like standing up during the National Anthem. What we know is not about Bush, the GIs, the F&PDs, the political parties, or Steve Francis. What we know is how they make us feel. And I feel fine. RR
