I have always had a lot of dislike for Steph, but I will definitely give him props for this move. It was a class act.

He seems like a well intentioned guy. He might actually be an introvert with poor communication skills because of the stories you hear about him. He acts strange but then does some nice things for others.

I wish Steph would give me an iPod full with hiphop tracks. :p

Nah, this is a classy move that I wish more sports players would follow. Misunderstood is definitely the word here.

Steve & Barry's seems like a good place to get high quality value priced clothing. Heard a lot of good things about them. Too bad they don't seem to sell anything online because there aren't any of their stores here in Northern California.

Well, materials cost about 50 cents per shoe, and labor costs are probably around a nickle per shoe, so I think he'll be making a little change on this...

Dan Patrick interviewed him on the radio Wednesday. He most definitely does NOT have poor communication skills. He was well-spoken and quite sharp when Patrick tried to corner him a couple of times.

I think Shaq puts his name on a cheaper pair of shoes, but they are in the $30s (not sure about tha thought).

I just checked out the webpage and I would definitely consider his "in game" shoes especially for $15.00.

Recently I came very close to buying a pair of Nikes that looked just like them for $80...

this is one thing i've always said about stephon. he is a MUCH better person than the media will give him credit for. the guy gives a very good chunk of change to helping other people out.

i heard colin cowheard ripping stephon this morning because he doesn't see how he is making money...did he ever think, maybe steph isn't doing this for the money?

the guy has made a mint in basketball and good money in other endorsements, he doesn't need anymore money. he is doing this so kids can afford to go play basketball. so maybe a family doesn't have to go without electricity for a month because a family in the ghetto doesn't have $130+ for a pair of sneakers.

regardless of what people think of stephon as a player, as a person you will be hard pressed to find a guy who cares more about PEOPLE than him. he's shown that consistently over the years.

There alright.... I don't think stephon marbury will be wearing the same exact shoe. He's probably going to have better quality on the inside and stuff. His are gonna have better quality. These are good 2nd 3rd pairz.

For $16.33 there good shoes but i wouldn't buy these as my main hoopin shoes.

    I just got em today.

The other stuff is nice too but i didnt buy em. they have like 3 diffrent type shoes. the 2 others are 9.98

    Hehe, you wish.

Anyway, I really like Stephon Marbury, he's just another misunderstood player like Ron Artest or Rasheed Wallace, and Marbury isn't even as bad as them, he just seems to lose a lot of games.

I mean, his stats are great. Great scorer with very good shooting percentage, great passer, good at steals...I wonder why he just doesn't win.

nor is he a whinny loser on the court.

I don't think Marbury is a bad guy, really, he just has an over-inflated ego as far as basketball goes. He asked out of Minny, where they had a very successful young team, because he didn't want to play second fiddle to KG then went on to show that he really doesn't have quite enough talent to play first fiddle for a real contending team. He is a good player, just not someone who is good enough to dominate the ball as much as he does, sorta like Steve Francis.
