    1) What difference does it make to you?
    2) Waiting makes sense to see if he could be bundled with other expiring contracts for a better player.

Yeah, and while we are at it, why didn't we draft Jordan. Can people please get over the stupid Gay love.

I think Scola can fit in well in that role.

The best move was not trading Battier. It seems like every critic (Simmons, Sheridan just today) wanted us to move him for Artest, but they don't realize the value Battier has to this team. In some ways he is just as important as Yao and Tracy. He is the linchpin to our team defense, and if he goes honestly I think we become an average defensive team without van Gundy to make adjustments and get on people anymore about it. So kudos to Morey for tuning out all the pundits and sticking to his metrics which show how valuable Battier really is.

I'm not giving gay love I'm just saying pick a lane and stay in it. Either ur trying to win a title or ur rebuilding. There isn't room to be in between. Either u draft ur players and develop them or u get veterans and try to get over the hump.

If u as a gm want the rox to get younger nad more atheletic, then u were in a position to do that last yr with gay or brewer. U add to that with brooks this yr and u keep it rolling. U don't trade #9 pick and swift for Battier. Once u made the move for shane, u were in win now mode, not next yr mode.

All I'm saying is pick a lane and stay in it. People keep saying 3-5 yrs, we have old stars as far as mileage. Every other team ahead of the rox are in win now mode. The old kings had a 5yr and it was over. At the time webber was young as was bibby, peja, and everyone else. Once they didn't get it done,he was fires and the team dismantled. It doesn't take long to become obselete.

we shouldn't be worried about yao or tmac. i think they'll be fine when the playoffs start (i just wish BOTH would stop shooting their Js or fallaways and drive more).

but it all depends on this group of role players.

if our offense is this much improved over last yr, no trade should have been better b/c bonzi provides that different element.

HOWEVER, if bobby jackson can turn back the clock for 5 months for us, he could provide that spark that bonzi never provided b/c he was never an electrifying scorer.

Bobby Jackson = An older Mike James that ACTUALLY fits into Adelman's offense.

That was a great write up by clutch. He hit everything on the head. Just like a numbers cruncher, morey doesn't understand the human aspect. Bonzi and James will be super motivated in the division against the rox. Remember when the rox had to play james after he went to toronto? He killed the rox. Now a in shape bonzi against head and guys like that doesn't make me feel good. U try to avoid trading in ur own division as much as possible. I think moneyball is b.s.

Bobby Jackson > Bonzi Wells in that he can help our PG weakness; and Green's potential is yet to be developed whereas MJ's non-team style does not fit Coach RA's system, I think this is a wise move.
