I agree but I don't think that is his fault. Who else is he going to put in instead of Greg that is a big body?

One of the finest moment for McHale as a coach. I would of thought he would gone to the bench to respond. He didn't panic, he just let Asik determine our fate. This is a game where we could of easily lost, if didn't have McHale's fortitude. GJ Coach!!!

Noticed that, too. There are plenty of insensitive, robotic, paycheck coaches out there, and he, thankfully, is not one. He has great repoire and respect from those who know him, and seems better than advertised to lead a young and inexperienced squad not suited for an inside/outside game (which was his forte). He's done an above average to great job, more so, given the circumstances.

Now, if he can just add more depth to the playbook, push them harder to create more movement, become more familiar with everyone's strengths/weaknesses for more effective rotations, and drill them to box the eff out this offseason... we shall be rollin much harder next year.

He is doing better with adjustment than I thought. But he is doing it against Brooks...

Im a bonafide Mchale hater, just primarily bc of his situational mgmt..but he has done a marvelous job changing up his style and ...

HE GOT OUR PLAYERS TO ACTUALLY BUY INTO TEAM DEFENSE...this for me is the most remarkable thing...

I will definitely give McHale credit for some key adjustments in this series and sticking to what is working. Also he may be up against a coach who is worse than he is. Scott Brooks has definitely been leaning on star power to make him look good over the past years. Brooks coaching has been horrible this series. Oh well, sucks for OKC. Go Rockets!

I've been incredibly happy with what he has done since game 2. The man has been great with his roations, substitutions, and schemes. He is daring any player not named Durant to beat them and no one has stepped up to the plate yet. I never wanted McHale fired, but I did believe he was an average coach at best. However, you can see the impact he is having on these players.

His experience as a player, having won it all multiple times, is really helping him out right now. He knows what it takes to get it done and what kind of mind-set you need to have individually and as a team. He is making sure that each one of these players are taking the right approach to every game. Even if we don't win this series, our players have played their hearts out. If we don't move on, our players won't go home and tell theirselves, "I wish I would of done this".
