Clean block on the ball, but Boki did get him with the body. Great play, great play, great play!

Boki should have played in the 2nd. Boki should play more. Boki should remain on the roster for next season.

This guy showed that he has the heart to play. He didn't do too much in the regular season but right now he looks like a star. For the time he was in there he made sure he made a difference in the game to help the team. He brought enegy to the team to keep them going.

I can't believe they called his block on karl a foul. When he was running back he gave karl malone space and once the shot went up he blocked it and didn't touch malone that much.

BTW - Boki ripped warrior Karla's jersey by grabbing it to try and break his fall after getting undercut by the player of Michael's heart.

Can't forget that awesome play where Kobe gave him some slack and he drove it home... just teasers of what is yet to come.

I am really looking forward to seeing Nachbar get regular rotation minutes next year. These playoffs and the latter part of the season when he got more game minutes he really seemed to show more confidence in his game. Last year was a total waste. This really was his rookie year. I hope he can be solid off the bench next year.

As for the game tonight. I loved Nachbar's energy and those drives to the basket plus the awesome blocked shot were great! I just wish we could have seen more of that earlier in the year.

Yeah, he can really finish strong. The dunk where Malone undercut him was very nice, it's a shame that any player can get away with crap like that and not have some kind of real repercussions. This team's all heart, we can make some noise if we keep it together.

IMO, the principle of your pet-peeve is fallacious because it does not account for the controllable and uncontrollable stimuli. Simply put, your gripe is baseless because it is founded on misconception, distorted 'prism' and lack of statistical data.

Yeah he knows talent enough to leave him on the bench wasting away. I don't know for sure if the pick was a Rudy of CD pick but something went wrong somewhere for Boki to receive only token minutes all season long. He will make his mistakes no doubt and this can only come when he plays not otherwise.

He is due for extention by next October or so or he will become a free agent (I believe restricted). The Rox management 'jury' is still out on him but nonetheless he will be relatively cheap and a 3-year 6-8 million USD extention will not be a bad idea.

I agree with that but also i am not sure in the whole legality of it, but I dont think colleges can recruit from the euro leagues since its still considered non-amateur ball which makes a world of difference. The hs kids have a choice of playing for a college or trying to make it in the league. The foriegn players still have to adjust to the different type style of ball and rules used over here, not to mention the culture itself unlike high school players who grew up with it. its a comfort factor i believe. It takes a couple of years for foriegn players to get comfortable with the way of life in the states and then that comfort factor adds more focus in developing their games. But a lot of these hs kids make the jump for money and not because they really want to play against the higher level competition. If I was david stern i would make the age rule 20 or at least one year of college ball to help the hs kids mature both mentally and physically

and now back to the thread topic itself, Boki is going to be the man I love the way he acted after the block, just looked at malone shook his head no and walked away. I am sure JVG was like thinking Hell yeah way to get him back. JVG mindset is a warrior he wants to win no matter what but he also doesnt want anyone to back down, i am sure Boki will be here for a long time he is fast becoming a fan favorite in houston and he is already one on this bbs

    SPONSORSHIP TIME!!!!!!!!!!!

Boki: "Hi my name is Boki. And as a Rocket, I can't stop for anything, not even for Karl 'poor boy' Malone. That's why when I need a power boost to handle the ugliest of mailmen, I reach for a Nach-Bar. Isn't that right Yao?"

    Yao: "Can I write check?"

BOKI RULES!! I always liked that guy. What a great effort he put showed today... When he starts getting some respect from the officials, BOKI will become a star. I mean 4 fouls in 6 minutes?? that's ridiculous. THat was such a good block.. Malone sucks!!
    GO NACHBAR!!!

I think Boki just needs the minutes. JVG says he plays pretty good D, its just that he always gets stuck defending Vince or Kobe. But I'm loving the energy Boki is giving off the bench.

I think if JVG brings Boki off the bench regularly, he could pan out to be a nice player. Its all about confidence with Boki.

"I do have a lot of respect for the guy," Nachbar said. "But he has to know one thing. Everybody has to know one thing. I'm not afraid of him. He can look at me, give me bad looks. Whatever. I respect the guy. I saw him play since I was 10 years old. It was just a situation the foul got called and the fans went crazy. It's the playoffs. It's a part of the game." - Bostjan Nachbar

    I love Boki!!
