7 feet, left handed, quick as a cat, good ball handler, good passer, smart player, great post game, and excellent positional defender - and only 24 years old....why the hell would we even be considering trading him unless it is for a SUPERSTAR player. DMo is danged near untouchable, his skills are unique and his speed and quickness is elite for his size. DD
D-Mo has looked very good this season. I wouldn't include him in a trade for Dragic (although my thought is Phoenix would say that we need to include him or no deal). I for sure would not include him in a trade for Reggie Jackson. But he is hardly untouchable.
From last year, D.A. Aren't you the D.A. who said Hakeem was not an elite defender? Or switched teams more times than Lindsay Lohan violates probation?
We don't care if you post trade ideas. But you are constantly, consistently, perpetually, and perennially wrong on details. Continually. Year over year. Your whole schtick, as someone else mentioned, is to be the guy who thinks he's smarter than everyone else by presenting an argument that is obviously wrong, but for which you think you can provide specious or even erroneous facts to support your case.
Dmo has looked good but his lack of athleticism really makes him expendable. We need a big body that can protect the paint and rebound. He have enough offense to get rid of Dmo
He is an elite pnr defender and has great position defense and hands. Our offense would suffer without him as we have no other post options. You out yo mind!
We have Dwight... And we do not have enough offense to get rid of Dmo. If Harden isn't scoring there's no one else that can score consistently.
DMo is one of the best paint protectors in the entire league. He's #6 among rim protectors in the entire league (who defended at least 5 shot attempts per game). He's also a great positional defender, and is holding opponents down to much lower percentages than their season averages, he's on par with the likes of Noah/Duncan/Davis in that regard.
The funny thing is, if this thread started 3 months ago, I bet the prevailing sentiment would've been "LOL! No way the Thunder does that." More than DMo beasting, Reggie Jackson has been quite exposed this season.
He has great athleticism - he is very quick - what he is not good at is explosion upwards in his jump - but that doesn't mean his athleticism is bad. Jumping high is great, but being quick on the feet and of the mind is better. DD
The "no shooting Beverley"? Do we watch the same team every night? Last time I checked, he is a 40% 3 point shooter. The problem is not his shooting ability, it's his inability to get into the paint and the fact that he is the PG in an offense led by the best two guard in the game. I'm not saying that acquiring Jackson is a bad idea, but to call Beverley a poor shooter is neither fair nor accurate. He's actually progressing very well for someone who was overseas just 24 months ago.
