Guys, remember when Morey signed Marc Gasol?

    Marc
    Patterson
    Budinger
    Martin
    Lowry

    What could have been.

    Dmo for Conley.

Win/win for both sides especially with Marc leaving in the offseason

NO! D-MO is miles ahead of Jackson. Reggie is an awful shooter, who is really good at getting to the rim and passing.

He's might be worse than Jason Terry at defense.

Why is everyone saying this is such a good idea - you know what Jackson's price will be after this yr? Probably above what is in our best interest.

First things first: I think D-Mo has raised his stock high enough that even if they were both expiring and D-Mo didn't have another year left on his rookie deal he would still be worth more than Jackson.

But that aside, Jackson doesn't fit in Houston. He's an awful three point shooter. The things he's good at are the same things Harden is good at - only he is obviously nowhere near as good at those things as Harden. It'd probably be a lot like the Jeremy Lin situation.I just don't think Jackson would be an effective with the ball in Harden's hands.

Let me start off by saying I like Reggie Jackson, I think he's got a lot of potential. But if Presti calls Morey and suggested this, Morey would laugh in his face as he hung up the phone. Reggie isn't a good shooter. Bev,who you claim can't shoot, has one of the highest percentages behind the arc in the league this year. Although overall Reggie is better offensively, Bev is leaps and bounds better defensively. Bev fits the Rockets better than Reggie.

DMo has turned himself into a very good player. OKC would prob love to get him. They're arguably one of the top perimeter teams in the league. DMo would give them a legit post presence and make their offense deadly, whilst improving their interior defense even more with him and Ibaka. I'm pretty sure Morey knows this, so he's not going to give OKC DMo to make their team that much better.

And as much as I like Reggie Jackson, he's not a special unique talent. There are many Reggie Jackson type players in the league, and even more in college. How many legit 7 footers with a developing post game who can play both ways are out there? Very few. DMo is more valuable and a better player than Jackson. From the Rocket's perspective this would be a very very stupid trade. So there's not a chance this even gets discussed.

Dmo is a terrible ft shooter, just like dwight. And he is just an average stretch big. Putting dmo on the floor with dwight in the playoffs would be hack a rooket all day long. Dmo is also a terrible rebounder for his size and position.

Reggie Jackson is a proven playoff commodity.

I fail to see how the great dmo is worth so much more than reggie jackson. You may think reggie jackson isn't the right fit in houston (god knows, i don't understand how you could think that, but fine if you do), but he is far more proven than dmo is in every respect. The absolute only reason that okc would do this deal is to add a shooting big, which remains dmo's most important skill.

But let's not act like dmo is the next ralph sampson here. lol

not sure why you would help OKC like that, by giving them the one thing they have been lacking for years

Reggie Jackson? So we trade a starting PF for a backup PG? We've seen how Reggie plays without KD and RW.

I'd do Terrence Jones for Reggie Jackson.:)

What is the difference between dmo and Andrea Bargnani? By the time Bargnani was traded, he was better in every respect as a player than dmo is now, and yet people criticized bargnani to no end. You put dmo as the savior of a franchise, and not as a role player role, and you'll see how he can fare. Not good.

Dmo is a good role player that has some skill, selling him high would be the right move, than for people to truly see his flaws. If you are a 7 footer and you can't guard low post players, it's hard to have you on the court as Andrea Bargnani found out.

It's like having Jimmy Fredette on your team. He can shoot lights out, but he can't defend his position.

I'm not sure, looking at it more closesly, that dmo could even beat out steven adams or serge now that I like about it. Probably a bad deal for okc, because dmo is too weak in the low post.
